| Kick Off Luncheon for Child Abuse Prevention Month |
Amy Thomas, Executive Director, gave a speech
during the Kick Off Luncheon that took place at
the Page House on April 1. In her speech Amy
discussed the services that the ARK provides
within the community and the importance of
community involvement in promoting awareness and
prevention of child abuse.

ARK would like to thank everyone who contributed
or spent time with the children during the
Holiday Season. You can look at the Activities
page for events that took place during this time.

 Upcoming Event |
Crossroads Church will be visiting the ARK on
December 20th to spend time with the children
here that are so unfortunate to be away from
their families during this special time of year.
They will be sharing the Christmas Story and will
be singing Christmas songs during their visit. We
would like to say thanks for their kindness and
may god bless each of them!

 Donation from District Attorney |
District Attorney Craig Fraiser made a $5000.00
donation to The ARK on Tuesday November 13th. Amy
Thomas, Executive Director and Lois Stroman,
Chairperson were present to receive the donation.

 Fall Festival |
Saturday November 3rd, Dr. Robby Brinson and a
group of volunteers from New Vision Fellowship
hosted a fall festival at The ARK for children of
the ARK, WINGS and local foster children.
Everyone enjoyed lunch and an afternoon filled
with games and activities. Thanks so much to Dr.
Brinson and New Vision!!!
